I'm not even sure how to put our experience with Nikki into words. Apart from deciding to get married, deciding to get Nikki to do our photos was the best decision we made. Our wedding day was very much about having fun with our guests and spending as much time as possible with them and with each other - Nikki completely understood this and while our guests were having their main courses we slipped out for half an hour to take our couple and wedding party photos.  Having had such great photos captured in such a short space of time is a testament to Nikki's art. She is a true artist and somehow captures the mood of a moment. Other than that we honestly didn't even know she was around - she kind of blends into the crowd and takes these amazing spontaneous photos that transport you back to how you felt that day.  In a trend-driven market where wedding photos can easily look the same, Nikki has found her own style and follows her own trends. She's unbelievably unique and original. I'm happy that Nikki will forever be part of our life and the memories of our wedding day. 

To have a complete stranger to capture your deepest emotions on the day of your wedding is a tremendous bet.    You would never know if the photographer will manage to freeze what you would like to express, the unspeakable feelings, the immense joy.   How to possibly understand in a fragment of second the nature of the particular resonance of this guest or that guest for the couple?   Those challenges were fully nailed by Nikki. Nikki has a fantastic artistic eye. She photographs with her heart and each shot has its own soul. Capturing would be the right word: Nikki does not ‘shoot’, she does not ‘kill’ the moment... she enhances it, she makes is real and immortal.  Every time we look at our pictures, we love again that very particular second encapsulated in the pictures. It is a immense joy to have shared those moments with Nikki and we will never forget her mesmerizing talent. Nikki is not a photographer, she is a true artist in perpetual communion with the moment hic et nunc.

Our wedding day didn’t exactly go according to plan, it rained and stormed the entire day. This only made Nikki more excited to capture our special day. She went above and beyond to make myself and Dean feel extra special. Dean can be quite awkward in front of the camera but somehow Nikki made him feel comfortable enough to just go with the flow. From the moment Nikki arrived till the moment she left, she was able to even capture moments where we thought no one was around, she’s like a ninja! Our photos are much more than we ever expected and we are beyond grateful to have found her.

From the get go Nikki makes me feel so comfortable. A warm and inviting personality that makes me instantly want to not only be a client but a friend. We had the pleasure of having Nikki take our Engagement and Wedding Day photos and I seriously loved every moment. As said before Nikki made us feel so comfortable and in-turn we received the most beautiful, natural photos. No posing, just us being us. I just love Nikki’s style and to top it off she has the most amazing assistant photographer called Maggie. The two of them together are dynamite! Nikki, Thank You for always creating such magical work, you will forever be in our hearts. 

Choosing a good wedding photographer is one of the most important parts of wedding planning, we picked Nikki so we wouldn’t have to worry about our photographer on our big day. Her portfolio speaks for itself. Having met Nikki only a few days before the the wedding she immediately set our mind at ease, listening to exactly what we wanted and learning from her the best way to achieve beautiful and natural photos. From our very first meeting through to the delivery of the photos she make the whole experience a memorable one. Nikki was always available for questions and she uses a personal approach making every bride feel so special. Having Nikki at my wedding was not like having someone doing their job, you can tell she is passionate about photography and it was like having a friend there. Nikki was our photographer at our Cape wedding in Nov 2019. Arranging the photography, while living in the UK, was a very easy process with Nikki, who was was super friendly and personable and always made time for us to catch up on video calls. She really understood our requirements. We met her a few days before the wedding and she was just as lovely in person - very easy going and made us feel very comfortable. Nikki was very discreet on the wedding and managed to capture all those beautiful candid moments in such an artisitic way. Our wedding photos are incredible and we are so happy that Nikki was our chosen photographer. Could not recommend her enough!

Nikki is an amazing person and photographer! 3 years later and looking back at our photos we couldn't be more grateful to have had Nikki photograph both our engagement and big day. We loved her presence, how comfortable she made us, and her ability to take the most natural and beautiful photos when you didn't even know she was there! I have followed her work over the years which just seems to keep getting better, and so we couldn't be more excited for our pregnancy shoot coming soon... :)
